Gerald is a 13-year-old boy with a strong passion for learning, especially in Science. He dreams of becoming a science teacher one day. Living with his mother and three siblings in Uganda, Gerald’s father remains in Rwanda, leaving his mother to support the family on her own. Despite the challenges, Gerald thrives. He is in grade five and enjoys helping his mother around the house with chores like cleaning, sweeping, fetching water, and cooking. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer with his friends Mathias and Robert, as well as reading science books to fuel his curiosity. With support, Gerald can continue to pursue his education and reach his goal of becoming a science teacher. Sponsoring him will provide the resources he needs to succeed in school and build a brighter future.
