Mobile Irrigation System - $27,400

​

With climate change causing extended droughts, farmers are increasingly struggling to grow crops during the dry season. Our goal is to purchase a mobile irrigation system that allows us to collect water from available water sources and distribute it to farmers for irrigation. This will enable year-round crop production, ensuring a stable food supply, increased food security for the community, and continuous household incomes.

 

Motorcycle - $2,200

Many of our farmers are located in remote areas that are difficult to reach on foot. Despite this, we need to consistently visit them to conduct training, distribute seeds and fertilizers, monitor harvests, and respond quickly to any natural calamities that may affect their farms. Purchasing a motorcycle will significantly ease our work, allowing us to reach farmers more quickly and efficiently, ensuring faster accessibility and better support where it’s needed most.

 

Maize Milling Machine - $12,350

 

As our farmers work hard to increase their harvests, we aim to add value to their produce, such as milling maize to create by-products like cornmeal and chicken mash. This added value will help farmers double their incomes, allowing them to benefit even more from their hard work. Purchasing a maize milling machine will enable us to reach this goal, providing our farmers with the tools they need to earn more and improve their livelihoods.

 

Farming Tractor - $19,200

 

Most of our farmers rely on manual labor, which is physically demanding and time-consuming especially when working on larger plots of land. This limits their ability to cultivate extensively, often resulting in low yields and reduced earnings.Acquiring a farming tractor will be a game changer. It will allow us to support farmers in ploughing larger areas more efficiently, enabling them to grow more food, increase productivity, and ultimately double their profits.

 

Agricultural Warehouse - $16,440

 

As the number of farmers we support grows, so does their collective harvest. However, during the harvest season, farmers often face low market prices due to high competition and oversupply. With many selling the same products at the same time, prices drop, reducing their earnings.Our plan is to build a warehouse where we can safely store crops during times of high supply. This will allow us to wait and sell the produce during periods of high demand, when prices are better. By doing so, farmers can earn more from their hard work and avoid losses caused by market saturation.

 

Perforator Machine - $8,220

 

As part of our vocational training program, we equip youth with practical skills—such as making exercise books and notebooks. One essential tool we currently lack is a perforator machine, which is used to create small holes in the books, especially for tearable pages.Acquiring this machine will greatly improve the efficiency and quality of our training. It will make the bookmaking process faster and more professional, allowing us to better teach and empower members of our community with hands-on skills that can lead to income-generating opportunities.

Tailoring machine - $165 Each ( $825 Goal / 5 Machines)

We are excited to expand our tailoring project and reach even more youth with hands on training in designing and creating high quality, authentic clothing. Acquiring this tailoring machine will be a vital step in helping us achieve that goal.

With this machine, we’ll be able to improve the quality and consistency of our garments, compete more effectively in the local market, and diversify our clothing lines to meet broader customer needs. Most importantly, it will allow us to train and empower more young people and women equipping them with practical, income generating skills that can transform their futures.

This is more than a machine it’s a tool for education, opportunity, and sustainable impact.
